User impact: Users may see an unknown status for submissions in Microsoft Defender for Office 365.

Current status: Our monitoring alert systems identified an issue where some users may see an unknown status for submissions in Microsoft Defender for Office 365. Upon investigation, we determined that a recent service change to update a portion of the infrastructure supporting submissions resulted in impact. We’ve developed a fix that is currently propagating through the affected environments. As it progresses, some users may begin to see improvement. Once the fix is fully applied, we’ll reprocess all submission alerts that were affected during the impact window.

Scope of impact: Impact may occur for some users that attempt to make submissions in Microsoft Defender for Office 365.
