Current status: Our network routing analysis has isolated an impacting code regression that is believed to be preventing users from utilizing automatic forwarding in Exchange Online. After halting the offending service deployment that introduced the regression to ensure additional users didn’t run into the problem, we’re developing a fix to address the code regression and to remediate the impact. We’re expecting that a timeline for our fix deployment and the remediation of impact will be available by our next scheduled update.

Scope of impact: This issue may impact a subset of users attempting to utilize automatic forwarding with their Exchange Online mailbox.
