User impact: Users’ notifications from Microsoft 365 services may be delayed. More info: Impacted notifications include, but may not be limited to, the following notification types: – SharePoint Online email notifications for Workflow, Sharing, and Alerts Current status: We’ve initiated deployment of the fix to some of the impacted service environments to ensure no adverse effects to service are done. Since this is a complex deployment, we’re breaking the deployment process into multiple phases to prevent the fix from overwhelming our service as it propagates throughout the affected regions. Some users may experience early relief as the fix saturates their local region. Scope of impact: Any user receiving notifications from Microsoft 365 services may be impacted. Start time: Friday, April 21, 2023, at 7:54 AM UTC Root cause: Microsoft 365 infrastructure responsible for facilitating notifications is operating below expected performance thresholds, resulting in impact.
