User impact: Users may be unable to paste Excel tables into Outlook on the web email messages. More info: Initial testing indicates that the issue only occurs when utilizing the right click and pasting feature. Therefore, affected users may be able to circumvent impact by using CTRL+V pasting shortcut to paste Excel tables into emails manually. Current status: Our service update review has isolated a recent feature update intending to improve custom context menus that introduced a code issue preventing users from pasting Excel tables into Outlook on the web email messages. We’re developing a fix that will correct the code issue and will provide an updated timeline for our fix deployment after our internal validations have completed which are expected to coincide with our next scheduled update time. Scope of impact: Impact is specific to some users who are served through the affected infrastructure attempting to paste Excel tables into Outlook on the web emails.
