See two lifecycle updates published on the Windows IT Pro Blog with respect to Windows 10 and Window 11. Windows 10, version 22H2 will be the final version of Windows 10 released. It will receive monthly security update releases until October 14, 2025. That is the official end of support date for Windows 10. The Long-Term Servicing Channel (LTSC) will be available for Windows 11 Enterprise and Windows 11 IoT Enterprise in the second half of 2024. We recommend you begin transitioning to Windows 11 if you haven’t already. Read Windows client roadmap update for additional details and resources. 
 
When will this happen: 
  • Second half of 2024: The Long-Term Servicing Channel (LTSC) will be available for Windows 11 Enterprise and Windows 11 IoT Enterprise. 
  • October 14, 2025: Windows 10 will reach end of support. 
  • You can start planning your transition to Windows 11 today if you haven’t already.

These lifecycle updates are meant to help you have adequate time to plan for adopting Windows 11. 
 
What you need to do to prepare: 
  • We highly encourage you to begin plans to transition to Windows 11 now, as there won’t be an additional Windows 10 feature update.
