Microsoft Managed Desktop will remove the Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise language accessory packs. These language accessory packs were available in the Company Portal for all tenants enrolled prior to April 2022. Microsoft Managed Desktop supports standard users to install language accessory packs directly from within Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise. More information is available at Localize the user experience | Microsoft Learn. You no longer need Language accessory packs to be published via Intune and made available in the Company Portal.

[When will this happen:]

This service change will take place beginning the last week of May 2023 and will continue through mid-June 2023.

We will remove the published language accessory packs, and users can continue to use what is natively available in Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise to localize the end user experience.

If your organization has been utilizing language access packs in the Company Portal for Microsoft Managed Desktop, you should inform your users of this change to experience.
