User impact: Users may be unable to enroll iOS and MacOS devices in the Microsoft Intune service. More info: We determined that MacOS devices are also impacted, and we’ve accordingly updated the “Title,” “User impact,” and “Scope of impact” statements in this communication. Current status: Our analysis of service telemetry so far suggests that an issue is occurring within the process by which iOS and MacOS devices retrieve the authentication configuration information necessary for enrollment. To further confirm our theory, we’re examining the pathway leveraged in this process so we can identify a comprehensive remediation strategy moving forward. Meanwhile, we’re also testing potential expedited remediation strategies to alleviate the issue in the interim.
