Scope of impact: Impact was specific to some users who are served through the affected infrastructure attempting to enroll iOS and MacOS devices in Microsoft Intune.

Root cause: Mitigative efforts resolving a recent authentication configuration issue didn’t reflect as expected in the cache. This led to the retrieval of problematic authentication configuration information when users attempted to enroll, which resulted in impact. 

Next steps:
– We’re investigating why the cache didn’t reflect updated authentication configuration information so we can ensure the issue doesn’t reoccur in the future.
