Current status: e’ve received reports from a subset of admins that they’re receiving incorrect usage classifications of Cowork Tasks for Copilot Cowork usage reports in the Microsoft 365 admin center. Specifically, admins see tasks that should be categorized as “Scheduled” are reported as “User-Initiated”. We identified that the classification logic utilized to apply labels to affected tasks is incorrectly classifying “Scheduled” tasks as “User-Initiated”. We’ve corrected the offending classification logic and we’re backfilling impacted reports to have them reflect the correct usage classification label. We anticipate this process to be completed by Friday, July 17, 2026, at 4:00 AM UTC and we aim to provide updates on our timeline to remediation as the backfill progresses.
