Microsoft Edge management service is a single portal for admins to manage the Edge browser. It is a simple and easy-to-manage experience. Admins will be able to configure all Edge browser policies for their organization in a configuration profile and set-up the browser to use these settings.

[When this will happen:]

Targeted Release: We will begin rolling out early June (previously late May) and expect to complete by mid-June (previously late May).

Standard Release: We will begin rolling out late-June and expect to complete by early July.

[How this will affect your organization:]

No impact to tenant/admin/user. Admin can choose to use this new tool to manage Edge as an alternative to Intune or other popular management tools.

[What you need to do to prepare:]

Must have the Microsoft Edge Administrator or a Global Administrator role to access the experience in Microsoft 365 Admin Center.

To access the experience, go to the Microsoft 365 admin center>Org settings>Microsoft Edge.
