Current status: Following our aforementioned mitigation steps, we’ve observed that approximately 71% of the previously affected infrastructure is now in a healthy state and we expect the issue to no longer be occurring for the majority of users. We’ll continue to actively monitor the service environment to ensure a full recovery.

Scope of impact: Impact is specific to some users who are served through the affected infrastructure in Germany attempting to modify or open Excel files in any Microsoft 365 service.
