User impact: Users may experience intermittent performance issues with various Microsoft 365 services.

More info: The following services are impacted:

– Users may be unable to access the Exchange Online service from Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP) and Post Office Protocol (POP3) connection methods.

– Users may experience issues performing searches in SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Microsoft Teams.

– Users may not see pages load and searches may not work in Viva Insights.

Current status: Our internal monitoring system alerted us to an issue in which users may experience intermittent performance issues with various Microsoft 365 services. We’ve identified a potential connection issue on portions of infrastructure that hosts the impacted Microsoft 365 services, resulting in the various impact scenarios. We’re further investigating the connection issue, while restarting portion of infrastructures in attempts to restore service while we continue to investigate the underlying root cause.

Scope of impact: Some users that are attempting to use the various features and services outlined in the More info section may be impacted by this event.
