User impact: Users’ OneNote updates weren’t syncing for other users as expected.

More info: This issue affected the OneNote Universal Windows Platform version for Windows 10, OneNote for iOS, and OneNote for Mac. Users that had access to the OneNote Win32 app or OneNote for the web could’ve used these to bypass the impact.

Final status: While we were in the process of analyzing system logs, to review what we suspect was an issue in which a reliant subset of infrastructure was operating in a sub optimal state, system monitoring indicated that the service had returned to normal health. We’ve confirmed that the issue is no longer occurring, and we’ll continue to monitor the service to ensure that the problem does not happen again.

Scope of impact: Some users hosted in the affected West and South Europe environments were impacted.
