Current status: We’re continuing with the staged deployment of our solution and monitoring the initial saturation within internal environments to ensure that the impact is remediated prior to initiating the next deployment stage. In parallel, we’re expecting this initial stage of the deployment will complete by our next update, which will help us identify our timeline for the complete deployment of the fix and the remediation of impact.

Scope of impact: Impact may be specific to any user on ‘Litigation Hold’ attempting to move email messages to the archive folder in Exchange Online.

Root cause: ‘Contact Objects’ are being unexpectedly duplicated and causing users to reach their folder limits, preventing email messages from being moved into the archive folder.
