We’re making it easier to deploy and maintain teams for your frontline workers at scale. We are introducing a new feature in the Teams Admin Center that will allow you create a dynamic team for each of your frontline worker locations. With just a few steps you can identify your frontline workers with an AAD attribute, where they work with an AAD attribute, and standardize the team name, channel structure, and owner across all your frontline team locations. 

Dynamic teams will ensure your team membership is always up to date based on attributes you define in Azure Active Directory (AAD). As frontline employees onboard, offboard, or change locations, team membership will reflect the updates from AAD.

As you open new locations you can easily create a team for that corresponding location, and have membership automatically populated based on your AAD attributes.

Public Preview: We will begin rolling out mid-July 2023

Standard Release: We will begin rolling mid-November 2023 (previously late September) and expect to complete by early December 2023 (previously mid-October).
