A new default document theme is coming to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook across your endpoints. The new theme will include the new default font, Aptos, a new color palette, and updated default line weights.

This change is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID: 161740

Preview: This feature is now available.

Standard Release: We will begin rolling out mid-December 2023 (previously mid-August) and be fully rolled out by late January 2024 (previously mid-November).

The default Office theme will be changing across Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook on Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, and Web.
