User impact: Users may be missing the option to switch audio tracks within Microsoft Stream.

Current status: We’ve identified a code issue uncovered by a new feature added to the Microsoft Stream service that’s causing video protection keys to operate in a suboptimal state, resulting in the Audio Files feature being inoperable. The new feature, which introduced the capability of using alternate audio files for media, has been disabled to allow users to utilize the other Audio Files feature capabilities. We’re in the process of developing a fix to remediate impact for the new feature, which will allows alternate audio tracks as expected, and this fix is anticipated to reach all users by the second week of January 2024.
