Affected users may notice that any action facilitated by the Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) API, which ingests the streaming notifications that are impacted, may be affected. This includes, but isn’t limited to, sending and receiving email messages, and copying, moving, deleting, and updating email messages and other items.

Current status: The fix has reached approximately 91 percent saturation to the impacted service environment, and we anticipate the fix to reach all affected users by Sunday, December 17, 2023, at 2:30 AM UTC.

Scope of impact: This problem may impact some users with streaming notifications enabled who are served through the affected infrastructure and are utilizing the Exchange Online service using any connection method that utilizes the EWS API.
