More info: When selecting the ‘Email preview’ button from email summary flyout or from Email Entity page, admins may see the following error message “Message details couldn’t be found. When a message is soft deleted or hard deleted by the user or the admin, its details no longer exist in the mailbox or server”.

Current status: Following our further analysis into the affected networking authentication component and its impacting misconfiguration, we’re applying a change to manually update the affected configuration and remediate the impact.

Scope of impact: This issue is impacting any admin who is attempting to preview email messages in Microsoft Defender for Office 365.
