Affected admins see Microsoft Intune admin center reports that indicate Microsoft 365 app installations are still in progress, even though they’ve actually succeeded. Affected users can install and use the Microsoft 365 apps as expected, but can’t provision Windows Autopilot devices due to the Microsoft 365 apps installation status issue. Current status: After further investigation, we’ve found this event is also causing affected admins to see installation failures in Microsoft Intune admin center reports. We’ve determined the user and admin impact is caused by the most recent Microsoft 365 apps feature update that was deployed through the Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel, which is causing the wrong installation status for Microsoft 365 apps to be returned. We’re continuing our efforts to identify an effective remediation. Scope of impact: This event may impact any organization that receives Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel updates.
