User impact: Users are unable to view images in the body of email messages in Outlook on the web.

More info: Specifically, affected users are able to successfully right-click paste images into the body of draft email messages, however once the email message is sent the image cannot be seen in the email by either sender or recipient.

While we focus on remediation, some affected users have reported that they are able to bypass impact by using the CTRL + V keyboard shortcut to paste images into the body of email messages in Outlook on the web.

Current status: We’ve successfully validated and re-deployed our fix to the affected infrastructure, and we’re conducting a monitoring period to ensure it has applied successfully. We’re also reaching out to sample affected users to directly verify resolution.

Scope of impact: Users serviced by the affected infrastructure who attempt to paste images into the main body of email messages may be impacted.
