User impact: Users are unable to view images in the body of email messages in Outlook on the web.

More info: Specifically, affected users are able to successfully right-click paste images into the body of draft email messages, however once the email message is sent the image cannot be seen in the email by either sender or recipient.

While we focus on remediation, some affected users have reported that they are able to bypass impact by using the CTRL + V keyboard shortcut to paste images into the body of email messages in Outlook on the web.

Current status: We’re continuing our work alongside affected users’ representatives to gather HAR logs, so we can verify that the issue is resolved for users served through infrastructure where our fix has saturated. We expect that our fix will saturate across the whole of the affected environment, and remediate impact, by the time of our next scheduled update.

Scope of impact: Users serviced by the affected infrastructure who attempt to paste images into the main body of email messages may be impacted.
