User impact: Users may be intermittently unable to access SharePoint Online sites.

Current status: Based off internal testing and telemetry, we’ve confirmed that redeploying an older, healthy, service build safely remediates the impact. This supports that a recently deployed update is causing the issue. We initiated the deployment to a small portion of the impacted environment and didn’t observe any adverse impact. As such, we’re progressively deploying the build to all impacted infrastructure and are monitoring service health to ensure errors related to this event continue to diminish and that no alternate issues surface because of our remediation actions. While a precise estimated time to resolve the issue isn’t available, it’s forecasted that the deployment process will take a few hours and that recurrences of impact will reduce as the build saturates.

Scope of impact: The problem may intermittently impact any user attempting to access SharePoint Online sites or edit list items.
