Microsoft Viva: We are rolling out an update for Copilot assisted hours in the Microsoft Copilot Dashboard. For customers with a Viva or a Viva Insights subscription, the Copilot Dashboard will provide a breakdown of employees’ actions in Copilot that contribute to their company’s total Copilot assisted hours. There is no change to the existing metric calculation. Customers will have the additional ability to view the underlying details for Copilot assisted hours with this change.

[When this will happen:]

General Availability (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out early May 2024 and expect to complete by mid-May 2024.

[How this will affect your organization:]

This change will be defaulted on and will only impact users who have access to the Microsoft Copilot Dashboard and have Viva Insights subscription. There is no impact to admins.

[What you need to do to prepare:]

This rollout will happen automatically with no administrator action required before the rollout. You may want to notify your users about this change and update any relevant documentation as appropriate. Learn more about Copilot assisted hours here.
