Source content isn’t impacted by this incident. Current status: Our internal validations for the second phase of our mitigation plan to address the search index discrepancy have been successful. We’ve started the first part of the second phase, which includes implementing a scan on the missing SharePoint Online content search results. We’ll then implement the final part of the phase which consists of running a repair item to successfully restore the search results and resolve the underlying issue. We’ll aim to provide a remediation timeline once one becomes available. Scope of impact: This issue may impact the availability of some items when users perform content searches or use the News web part in SharePoint Online.
