User impact: Users may be unable to un-encrypt encrypted documents in Exchange Online or Rights Management Services (RMS) documents.

Current status: We’ve identified a recent service update which included a change that was meant to optimize this feature, but introduced an issue which resulted in this impact. We’ve reverted the impacting change and we’re monitoring service telemetry to ensure that the issue has been fully resolved.

Scope of impact: Any user attempting to un-encrypt RMS documents or encrypted documents in Exchange Online may be impacted.
