Current status: We’ve isolated a recent service update that intended to improve security for the Viva Engage service which has introduced an authentication token configuration issue that’s preventing images and file previews in Viva Engage for users on external networks. We’re developing a fix that’s designed to address the authentication token configuration problem and expected to remediate the impact. We’ll provide an estimated timeline for our fix deployment and the remediation of impact once it has become available.

Scope of impact: Impact is specific to users hosted through the affected infrastructure, and any user may be unable to see images and file previews in Viva Engage while on external networks.
