Updated March 27, 2023: The retirement of the Microsoft Store for Business, originally scheduled for March 31, 2023, has been postponed. Please refer to the Windows IT Pro Blog for an update on future plans when they are available. Apps from the Microsoft Store for Business that are already installed on devices will continue to work. However, for the apps to remain up-to-date and manageable they need to be recreated and reassigned using the new Store integration with Microsoft Intune. The required Company Portal app currently assigned to Microsoft Managed Desktop service-managed devices is procured from the Microsoft Store for Business. To prepare you for the retirement of the Microsoft Store for Business, we will help you with the migration of the Company Portal app by replacing the existing version with one procured using the new Store integration with Microsoft Intune.
