More info: Specifically, users may see the edit button greyed out or not visible at all. As a workaround, admins may be able to manually run the following script “Set-SPOSite -DenyAddAndCustomizePages 0”, to re-enable custom script through PowerShell to mitigate impact.

Current status: The deployment of the fix is taking longer than anticipated to complete. We expect the majority of impacted users are already experiencing remediation, while the impact for the remaining affected users will be resolved by our next scheduled update.

Scope of impact: Impact is specific to some users, who are served through the affected infrastructure, attempting to edit some SharePoint Online classic site pages.
