User impact: Jordanian users’ time zone label in some calendar invites from outside of the country may show the incorrect time. More info: Specifically, only the time label in Outlook on the web is incorrect and appears as UTC+2 instead of UTC+3, while the actual calendar invite is scheduled at the correct time. Current status: We’ve identified that a previous fix deployed to resolve an issue with Jordanian users’ calendar invites showing the incorrect time, introduced an Outlook on the web configuration issue causing calendar invite time labels to reflect inaccurate times. We’re reviewing internal coding of the fix to determine an effective remediation plan to resolve the newly introduced configuration issue. Scope of impact: This issue affects Outlook on the web users with devices based in Jordan that receive calendar events external from Jordan. Root cause: A previous fix deployed to resolve an issue with Jordanian users’ calendar invites showing the incorrect time, introduced an Outlook on the web configuration issue causing calendar invite time labels to reflect inaccurate times.
