Current status: We’ve identified that a recent change intended to redirect traffic to an improved SQL database infrastructure, which has now been found to contain an issue that prevents the infrastructure from properly assessing Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) roles, has resulted in impact. To remediate this issue, we’re disabling this offending change and we’re monitoring the service to ensure this action successfully resolves the problem. 

Scope of impact: Impact is specific to some users who are served through the affected infrastructure.
