User impact: Some users’ Outlook mobile contacts are missing from the native contacts app on iOS devices.

Users who haven’t yet upgraded to Outlook for iOS version 4.2309.2 can do so to restore missing contacts immediately. For those users who previously upgraded to version 4.2309.2, impact will persist until we deploy the new build that includes the fix.

Current status: The update has been released to the App Store. In order to ensure full mitigation, admins can push the update to devices through Intune, or users can self-mitigate by updating their iOS Outlook mobile app.

Scope of impact: This issue may impact any iOS users with contact sync enabled on their iOS devices and who are leveraging a specific Outlook for iOS version when attempting to view Outlook mobile contacts in the native contacts app.
