Latest Message | Title: Jordanian users’ time zone label in some calendar invites from outside of the country may show the incorrect time
User impact: Jordanian users’ time zone label in some calendar invites from outside of the country may show the incorrect time. More info: Specifically, only the time label in Outlook on the web is incorrect and appears as UTC+2 instead of UTC+3, while the actual calendar invite is scheduled at the correct time. Current status: We’ve begun deploying the code change, which has been successfully tested to ensure it resolves the issue. We anticipate its deployment may take approximately seven days to finish deploying. We’re actively looking for ways to expedite the deployment if possible. Scope of impact: This issue affects Outlook on the web users with devices based in Jordan that receive calendar events external from Jordan. Estimated time to resolve: We anticipate the code change will be fully deployed by our next communication update. Root cause: A time zone change in Jordan wasn’t correctly picked up by the underlying service and therefore is incorrectly labelling the time in Outlook on the web for Jordanian users’ calendar invites.
