User impact: Admins are not shown policies on the Adaptive Protection section of Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management. More info: This specifically impacts Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies created with the Adaptive Protection condition. Current status: We’ve identified that a recent change which intended to route DLP policy requests through the Representational State Transfer (REST) API unexpectedly also resulted in calls for DLP rules going to the same API, which isn’t supported and resulted in errors. We’re preparing a fix to revert the change and resolve impact for all affected users by our next scheduled update. Scope of impact: This issue may affect any admin attempting to view Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention policies created with the Adaptive Protection condition in Microsoft Purview Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management. Root cause: A recent change which intended to route DLP policy requests through the Representational State Transfer (REST) API unexpectedly also resulted in calls for DLP rules going to the same API, which is not supported and resulted in errors.
