User impact: Users’ OME email sent from Exchange Online may have been unable to be accessed by some recipients.

More info: This issue affected users that were external to the organization of the user sending the message. The external user generated a One Time Passcode and was routed to the OME portal, but the site was continuously loading.

Users receiving OME email messages from other users in the organization weren’t affected.

Final status: We determined that a recent deployment contained issues that led to the CDN not delivering the scripts required for OME to work. We developed and deployed a fix and have confirmed via telemetry and customer report that impact is now remediated.

Scope of impact: Impact may have occurred for any users sending OME email messages through Exchange Online to some external users.
