Windows 365 recently rolled out a service update packed with new features and enhancements. Now available in public preview: Cloud PC move and Admin alerting capability when a Cloud PC enters grace period. These are just a couple of our latest updates. Keep reading to about the other great features we’ve added.

[How does this affect me?]
The What’s new in Windows 365 Enterprise documentation has been updated, providing additional resources to help you learn more.
- Cloud PC on-demand restore points and copy to Azure Storage account: Previously in preview, this feature is now generally available. Admins can create on-demand manual restore points for Cloud PCs and share them with an Azure Storage Account. It offers greater flexibility in managing the Cloud PC environment.
- Shortpath for managed/private networks: Windows 365 now supports Managed network RDP Shortpath, enabling faster and more efficient access to Cloud PCs for users on private networks. It improves productivity and user experience.
- Move Cloud PC: In public preview, this new provisioning policy option allows admins to define a new region or Azure Network Connection (ANC) for Cloud PCs. Cloud PCs that no longer match the updated region or ANC will be automatically shutdown and relocated. New Cloud PCs will be created in the specified region or ANC, simplifying management and migration.
- Microsoft 365 admin center will introduce a new guide on the Advanced deployment guides page specifically designed to assist administrators in planning, deploying, and scaling Windows 365 Enterprise within their organization.
- Provide feedback button for admins (preview): A “Provide feedback” button is now available in Windows 365 admin pages, allowing admins to easily provide feedback on the service.
- Admin alert when a Cloud PC enters the grace period: Admins now receive alerts when a Cloud PC enters the grace period, ensuring better device management and preventing access issues for users.
- Dark mode support in Windows 365 app: Users can now choose between light or dark mode or let the app match system settings. Dark mode provides a visually appealing and comfortable user interface, especially in low-light environments.
- Multiple monitor settings support in Windows 365 app: Users can customize multiple monitor settings, optimizing multi-monitor setups and enhancing productivity.
