Coming soon to Microsoft Purview eDiscovery (Premium), we’re rolling out enhanced support for Teams video clips.
This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap IDs 124848 and 124849
[When this will happen:] Preview: This feature is rolling out to public preview now. Standard Release: Rollout to general availability will begin in late June and is expected to be complete by late July. [How this will affect your organization:] With this update, eDiscovery admins collecting Teams video clips will see the Teams video clip as a separate video recording file attached to the Teams conversation where it was shared. This will enable review and export as mp4 files to help admins better understand the content and context of the video clips.

No action is needed to enable this feature update.
