The new vertical tabs feature in OneNote allows users to hide horizonal section tabs and streamline the user experience.

Users who currently use the Win32 client of OneNote will have the option to switch layout options.

New users or users who have recently installed Win32 will have this layout by default.

Current users can easily switch to the layout by going to the View Tab -> Layout Options -> Different layout option. For additional information on this feature, please visit this page.
