As of Microsoft Edge version 118.0.2088.61, the Bing Chat sidebar experience in Microsoft Edge has been renamed Copilot in Edge. The new Copilot icon replaces the Bing Chat bubble icon in the Microsoft Edge toolbar.

This was previously announced on September 21, 2023: Announcing Microsoft Copilot, your everyday AI companion.

The new Copilot icon replaces the Bing Chat bubble icon in the Microsoft Edge toolbar beginning with Microsoft Edge version 118.0.2088.61.

[How this will affect your organization:]

Users who open Copilot in Edge by selecting the Copilot icon in the Edge toolbar will have the same sidebar chat experience as before.
