User impact: Users are unable to view images in the body of email messages in Outlook on the web.

More info: Specifically, affected users are able to successfully right-click paste images into the body of draft email messages, however once the email message is sent the image cannot be seen in the email by either sender or recipient.

While we focus on remediation, some affected users have reported that they are able to bypass impact by using the CTRL + V keyboard shortcut to paste images into the body of email messages in Outlook on the web.

Current status: We continue to monitor our fix as it saturates across the affected environment, following the successful deployment. We expect to be able to provide an estimated remediation timeline as part of our next scheduled update. In parallel, we’re working alongside affected users’ representatives to gather HTTP Archive format (HAR) trace logs, so we can verify that impact is remediated for those users served through infrastructure where the fix is in place.

Scope of impact: Users serviced by the affected infrastructure who attempt to paste images into the main body of email messages may be impacted.
