User impact: Users may experience slow loading speeds or are unable to access SharePoint Online sites.

Current status: We’ve identified that a recent feature update to internal network infrastructure configurations caused increased network latency, which resulted in slow loading speeds or access issues for SharePoint Online sites. We’ve rerouted network traffic to healthy infrastructure, which has mitigated the impact for a majority of tenants.

We’re now working to restore to a previous version of the network infrastructure configuration, which is expected to completely remediate the impact. While this is underway, some users may continue to experience minor latency. We expect to provide an update on the timeline for full remediation by the time of our next scheduled update.

Scope of impact: Impact is specific to some users who are served through the affected infrastructure.
