More info: The activity reports in the Microsoft 365 admin center currently displays a stale refresh date of ‘April 23, 2024’. Reports from the following categories are impacted:

– Microsoft 365 groups
– Microsoft Teams usage

Current status: We’ve completed deploying the fix, which has brought forward the previously aforementioned refresh date to ‘April 23, 2024’. However, we’ve further identified that an additional upstream data source, also responsible for facilitating fresh report data, has unexpectedly failed and is preventing full resolution of impact. We’re now focusing our efforts to repair the upstream data source in order to fully remediate any remaining impact.

Scope of impact: Impact may be specific to any admin, attempting to view the Microsoft 365 groups and Microsoft Teams usage report in the admin center, who are served through the affected infrastructure.

Start time: Monday, April 22, 2024, at 12:00 AM UTC

Root cause: A section of pipeline infrastructure, responsible for facilitating report data requests, has become unresponsive and is resulting in impact.
