Current status: We have updated the user impact associated with this event and we’ve confirmed that local networking issues are impacting users’ abilities to connect to our Microsoft 365 services. We’re monitoring our service while the local networking providers address the problem.

Scope of impact: Based on our telemetry, this issue appears to be impacting users based in the Japan region. Users outside of this region may not be impacted.

Preliminary root cause: A local networking issue appears to be resulting in impact when users attempt to connect to some Microsoft 365 services.
