More info: Admins receive an error which states: “Failed. Unable to execute the task. Reason: Compliance search initialization for “Test Max Limit” failed with exception: Your request can’t be started because the maximum number of jobs for your organization are currently running. Please wait for other jobs to complete and then try again.”

Current status: We’ve identified an issue affecting admins in North America attempting to perform new eDiscovery (Standard) content searches. We’ve tested within our infrastructure and have successfully reproduced the error. We’re collecting and reviewing HTTP Archive format (HAR) logs of the event, as well as the cmdlets utilized by the search service, to determine the cause and necessary mitigation steps.

Scope of impact: This issue only affects admin in North America that are attempting to perform new eDiscovery (Standard) content searches.
