More info: Items in search results may appear to be out of date or incomplete. Items within the search index that may be impacted were created or updated prior to Monday, February 5, 2024. Any content added or modified after Monday, February 5, 2024, isn’t impacted. Source content isn’t impacted by this incident.

Current status: We’ve completed scanning for the missing SharePoint Online content search items and are preparing to initiate a force sync of the items that we anticipate will complete by our next scheduled update. Once the sync completes, we’ll implement the final state of our mitigation that consists of running a repair job to ensure the content search results populate as expected.

Scope of impact: This issue may impact the availability of some items when users perform content searches or use the News web part in SharePoint Online.
