User impact: Users may intermittently be unable to update or cancel calendar items in Outlook Win32 desktop client.

More info: Users intermittently receive an error when updating or canceling calendar items that could prevent these actions from occurring; however, users may also be able to click through the error and see the operation succeed. As a work around, users can update meetings using Outlook on the web or new Outlook desktop client.

Current status: We’re continuing to investigate the infrastructure responsible for facilitating updates to calendar items through the Outlook Win32 desktop client to determine if there were any recent configurations implemented to redirect traffic that may be contributing to the impact. In the meantime, we’re implementing additional diagnostics in the infrastructure to help us collect data to further isolate the root cause.
