User impact: Users may experience intermittent service degradation for multiple Microsoft 365 services and functions.

– Some file icons and items may not be displayed from office.com.
– Some Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint filles and items may not be displayed.
– Some SharePoint Online file card fields may not populate.
– Some information may be missing in People card files in Outlook on the web.
– Answers, cards, highlights, and suggestions in Viva Topics may disappear.

Current status: We’ve identified that an authentication component on a portion of infrastructure that facilities the impacted services is causing a compatibility issue and resulting in degradation for various Microsoft 365 services and functionalities. We’re determining a remediation plan that will restore resolve the underlying issue without adversely impacting other aspects of the service.

Scope of impact: Some users attempting to use the impacted Microsoft 365 services and functions may be intermittently impacted.
