More info: This issue occurred when invites were shared to external users; those who were inviting users internal to their organization weren’t impacted by this event. Impact was further limited to users who were on Windows 11 or the 64-bit version of Windows 10. Those who were on the 32-bit version of Windows were unaffected.

Final status: We’ve concluded the process of deploying our fix to the affected infrastructure, and have confirmed through testing in our internal environments alongside analysis of service monitoring telemetry that impact to end users has been remediated.

Scope of impact: Users who were attempting to accept calendar sharing invites that were external from their organization and were on either Windows 11 or the 64-bit version of Window 10 may have been impacted.
