User impact: Users’ flows leveraging the Project Roadmap connector may have failed in Project for the web.

More info: Users’ flows that have Roadmap rows connected to an external project may have failed to sync updates, and users serviced by the affected infrastructure that have Roadmap rows connected with an external service may have been impacted. Additionally, users may have been unable to open or create Premium plans in the UNO app. Dynamics Project Operations customers may have been unable to load the task grid as a result of this issue.

Final status: We’ve completed the aforementioned roll back process and confirmed through monitoring our service telemetry that the problem is remediated. 

Scope of impact: Users serviced by the affected infrastructure utilizing Project on the web for certain scenarios may have been impacted.

Root cause: A code issue introduced by a recent service update intended to address an unrelated issue was resulting in impact.

Next steps:
– We’re reviewing our service update testing and validation methods to better identify the potential for impact to the Project Roadmap connector prior to deployment to prevent similar impact in the future and to improve our pre-deployment update testing processes.
