User impact: Users may be unable to print or export files to PDF through Excel for the web.

More info: Users that encounter this problem receive the error, “Something went wrong, and we can’t print your workbook.”

While we’re focused on remediation, users that have access to the Excel desktop app can use this bypass the problem.

Current status: Our additional service telemetry analysis has isolated a recent Windows update which is believed to be preventing users from printing or exporting files to PDF through Excel for the web. As we continue our analysis into the problems that were produced by the Windows update, we’ve started our change reversion process in our efforts to remediate the impact.

Scope of impact: This issue may prevent any user from printing workbooks or printing to PDF from Excel for the web.
